I moved to Arizona about 8 years ago after growing up in North Dakota. I attended college at North Dakota State University for one year and then decided to move to Arizona for the weather and more importantly the business opportunities a bigger city in a warmer climate could offer me. After getting residency I attended Pima Community College for 2 years and got my associates in business. I then decided to get my Realtors license and try my hand at real estate. I was very fortunate to work and train under a very high volume real estate team and two real estate mentors and investors that taught me how to learn this industry and how to become an efficient and profitable business owner. After 2 years of buyer/seller representation specifically helping 1st time investors and multi-unit property owners I decided to branch out and start my own business. I then partnered up with my current business partner Greg Kotseos and we formed Find-A-Renter Services and launched the website www-find-a-renter.com. Our business model was simple, we wanted to help investors fill and retain qualified tenants for their property thusly making their properties profitable as an investment tool and easing the strain that bad tenants and poorly managed properties can cause an owner. Our client base was already in place and all we had to do was inform our past clients of our new specilaiztion and how we may now help them in addition to buyer/seller representation. Greg and I helped owners fill their vacancies officially as a company for over a year as well as still helping investors acquire and sell new rental property. Then we were approached by David Walsh who is the broker of Walsh Realty and someone we worked with in the past because David specialized in selling multi-unit investment property and many of our clients had bought some of his clients listings. Over a couple year span we developed a respect for David and his knowledge of the Tucson investment market and whenever possible would recommend our clients buy one of Davids listings because we knew it would be priced fairly with the current market conditions and we would be able to get the deal done. David had decided to form a property management company with some investor support and he had targeted Greg and I to work along side him to help fill the vacancies of the property management clients had planned on acquiring. We decided to team up and its been a great relationship and strong business model since. We as a company manage over 400 units in Tucson currently and have goals of taking over management of additional 100 by the end of 2009. That in my opinion is a huge amount of success in the short amount of time we have been working together. With the hiring of a full time receptionist and a leasing agent I have taken the role and title of manager of the leasing division of Walsh Realty and personally look over every lease and every piece of marketing we do. We are an aggressive, knowledgeable and driven group of individuals and our clients go out of their way to refer us and we know that any client we service will feel the same.
